Glen Young

CO-FOUNDER // THE Karma Project

Glen Young is the Director of US Operations and co-founder of The Karma Project.  Karma Project is a nonprofit organization that helps Nepalese mountain tourism workers build sustainable tourism companies that funnel profits into medical services and education in villages where workers live.  Glen is also the Director of Nepal Programs for Seattle-based alpine guide company Kaf Adventures, the lead international guide for Yexplore Global Adventures, and an environmental educator in Yosemite National Park for NatureBridge.  Glen has worked in fourteen countries on four continents, and has guided peak ascents throughout the United States (including Alaska), the Andes, and the Himalayas.  Glen specializes in developing programs that help participants build judgement and maintain realistic attitudes when facing risk in a variety of contexts.
